Light staining on front and back cover, not evident inside covers or pages. Bumping to cover tips and edges, slight to page tips. 1/8"tear on leading edge of front cover. The binding is tight with no looseness to the pages. The pages have no creasing and are unbent. With the following exception, the pages are bright, clean and unmarkied: On the blank side of the last page in what appears to be Di Prima's handwriting: "3/20/72 berkeley the point is that we are all innocent unless we give it up, claim ourselves to be not inocent, then we are only bitter, [hating ourselves, our own bodies (crossed out)]. skeletons, having burned off the sensual flesh of our bodies w/self hatred"
